ABOUT JG MUSIC EDUCATION

JG Music Education, LLC. was founded in October of 2021 by professional songwriter and vocalist J. Gordon. Previously known as JG Vocal Coaching, the organization has dedicated itself to helping musicians realize the potential of their playing ability. Our courses teach music theory, proper technique, wellness and stage presence. Since its founding, JG Music Education, LLC. has grown to include lessons in both songwriting, and voice and has been committed to teaching its students the discipline necessary to be professional musicians.

ABOUT JGORDON

JGordon is the founder of JG Music Education. Gordon is a songwriter, vocalist, and vocal producer from Dallas, Texas and has been teaching voice since February 2016. He studied Vocal Performance at the University of Texas at Austin and there founded Front & Center, one of the campus' top performing arts organizations. Gordon has been singing since the age of 5 and has been receiving formal vocal training since he was 14 years old. He specializes in teaching pop, R&B, and classical vocals and has had placements on Netflix and with many indie artists in LA. Some of his influences include Beyonce, Katy Perry, Brandy, and Billie Holiday. Throughout the course of his career Gordon has prepared artists for roles musicals like “Sister Act” and for performances with Disney+ and Los Angeles & New York pride, main stage. One of his biggest accomplishments to date is preparing actress/singer Angelica Ross for her Broadway debut as Chicago’s Roxie Hart! Gordon seeks to help each student he teaches understand their unique sound, and know that their voice has a place in the world of music.

We do our best to make everything as seamless as possible for our clients! Our instructors take the guess work out of rehearsal schedules and exercises. All of our clients will receive and have access to the following:

• Instructor curated rehearsal schedule for the week following each lesson

• Student Portal that contains sing along exercises, text, and workbook for at home practice between lessons

• 1 hour weekly lesson

• 24/6 access to contact and ask instructor questions or discuss concerns
