Your Instructor

The course is taught by Uriel Soto. Los Angeles native Uriel Soto fell in love with music at a very young age. He developed an interest in piano and organ at age 9 and began formal training for them at age 10. His instructor, a Honduran musician, specialized is Salsa and Merengue, which heavily influenced Uriel's playing style. His love for music later spilled over into voice and he joined his high school choir as well as several indie bands throughout the city. It was in those bands that his interest in recording was peaked. Soto later went on to graduate from the Los Angeles Recording Connection Audio Engineering Program and now engineers sessions for artists like Kelis, TLC, DJ Paul and many more. Samples of his work can be found on his website at www.usjrproductions.com and on the "Music" and "Placements" tab of www.songwriterjgordon.com
